“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman.
The most unprotected person in America is the black woman.
The most neglected person in America is the black woman.” Malcolm X
These photographs aim to capture the beauty and essence of black women, in various capacities. These photos are an ode to the various black women who have broken ground for me and from whom I have learned hard-work, resilience, and faith. I held an exhibition in Boone, NC to display photographs, and it was an overwhelming success. Photos and a video of the event can be seen under the works.
Thank you to Carson Fletcher for capturing the feeling of the exhibtion with his excellent videography skills.
