Hired by Legion Collegiate Academy’s Lady Lancers’ coach, I created a logo for the girls’ basketball team. The logo was initially purposed to be used by the coaches. Coach Jonathan Edwards has an outlook that is focused on aiding his players’ ascension under his instruction and beyond. College, NIL, social media, etc. This age is primed for high school players to create basketball careers’ like no other times. Hence, the “women’s” basketball element. This program is to be taken serious, they’re led by a coaching staff that understands the importance of proper positioning.

Outside of the logo, I created merch/ swag designs that have been used for t-shirts, shooting shirts, and other wearables for players, fans, coaches, family members, students, etc. Inspiration has been taken from vintage garments, and large sports’ brands.

The success of these designs have led to an ongoing design relationship between this coaching staff and I. By the end of this school year, I will have drastically impacted the girls’ basketball team branding.
