SHEEN

Portrait series · 2016 · Appalachian State University

A series chronicling Black women in their natural state. No styling, no retouching. Lit to let the inherent beauty of skin and hair carry the frame.

SHEEN, hands over face
Shot on a single key light against seamless grey.
